Bolting cloth typically has a relatively wide mesh and thin wires, providing a high sifting capacity. It is used mainly for sifting flour and similar powdery substances. Dinxperlo weaves it in mesh sizes from about 8mm down to about 50 microns (see table of standard specifications).
