WIRE SIEVES AND TEST SIEVE MESH
Dinxperlo manufactures a wide range of wire sieves, the test sieves in most common use. These are used for different types of analysis in a variety of laboratories.
All sieves are fitted with top-quality test sieve mesh made from stainless steel wire. The mesh sizes of wire sieves are between 25µm and 125mm (see link to the table at the bottom of this page). Sieves with a mesh size larger than 200µm are AISI 304, and those with an aperture of 200µm or less are AISI 316. The sieve frame is normally made of stainless steel but can be specially made of brass.
TEST SIEVE INSPECTION
The inspection of the sieves is also carried out by Dinxperlo. We have a ‘videomat’ monitoring system for checking mesh sizes to an accuracy of 1µm and measuring whether they comply with ISO 3310 and NEN 2560 tolerances.
Test sieve mesh is inspected three times during the manufacturing process: during weaving, on the roll and in the test sieve. Each inspected sieve is supplied with a certificate indicating the good quality of the product.
PERFORATED PLATE SIEVES
Dinxperlo’s perforated plate sieves are made of stainless steel or brass as required. The perforated plates are produced with a mesh size of 1mm and upwards (see link to the table at the bottom of this page).
The perforations follow a regular pattern and are contour-perforated in line with NEN 2560. Perforated plate sieves are normally supplied with a stainless steel frame, but can also be supplied with a brass frame. The sieves are manufactured in line with the highest manufacturing standards so as to guarantee quality, and they comply with national and international standards.
ELECTROFORMED SIEVES
Test sieves with electroformed plates are available with apertures from 5µm to 500mm (see table). The electroformed plates are made of stainless steel. These test sieves enable high-precision analysis, as the apertures are accurate to 2µm.
